Loose a Rabbit Gain a Rabbit

We lost Korgoth this morning. No ideas what got him. Cage was clean, no signs of trama. He had been eating all week but last night's serving of food was left untouched. We had just registered him as he had placed (and perhaps won a leg) at his last show. I'm hoping his litter takes. He was such a beautiful buck. RIP Korgoth.

I did palpate Flour (the doe he was bred to). I think I feel babies, this would be day12 of gestation though.

On a brighter note, Kalliope (one of our SF brooders) finally delivered. She had one baby as I had predicted. Kalliope didn't quite get the nest making thing, but she's very young so I'll forgive her. Her breeding was more to slow her growth than anything else and I'm considering fostering the singleton to another doe and breeding her again. The only foster I have available has litter that is a week older than this little guy so I'm a tad hesitant. We'll see what happens...
