I'm not really sure what Dani's exact plan is, but I think we're planning on letting Freya wear herself out a bit, then wrapping her in an old towel, and hoping that the Inkinator works right. I'm rather concerned that we'll need to immobilize her head, so that she can't jerk around or bite. However, I don't really know how we could do that and first off avoid suffocating or overheating the rabbit, and secondly having the correct ear available for convenient tattooing.
In place of Vaseline, we've got a mild anti-bacterial petroleum-jelly-based ointment that we'll rub on to make sure she's ok.
Stressing out the rabbit is a big concern for me, but I don't really know what we can do to avoid it other than do it fast and with as little pain as possible.
